About the Program:
A must-attend for new bargainers! SMACNA's 2025 Collective Bargaining Orientation (CBO) will allow participants to gain a much better understanding of the bargaining process, and the confidence needed to bargain effectively and efficiently. In addition to this session, CBO will continue to provide chapter executives and contractors that are entering negotiations with:
- Basic legal advisement on collective bargaining in the construction industry
- Guidance on preparing to bargain
- Updates on industry settlements and trends
SMACNA encourages young contractors, new chapter executives, and new negotiating and bargaining committee members to attend this two-day workshop to help ensure their future collective bargaining success.

Registration Information:
Registration Fee: $175.00
The registration fee includes program materials and planned meals. SMACNA books hotel rooms which attendees pay separately. To reserve your place in the program, complete the online registration with payment before Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
Cancellation Policy:
We understand that things happen; should you need to cancel, please notify us in writing at events@smacna.org . In the event of a cancellation before Wednesday, December 11, 2024 the registration fee is refundable. For cancellations from December 12-20, 2024, there will be a $300 cancellation fee. If canceled after December 21, 2024, there will be no refund.
Registration substitutions may be made at any time. If you cannot attend but someone from your organization can come in your place, please notify us in writing via email at events@smacna.org.

Attendees registering with a hotel room will have hotel accommodations made on their behalf on a space-available basis upon payment of the meeting registration fee. Please note that the room block is sometimes filled before the cut-off date; therefore, rooms are subject to availability and a possible rate change. If you have requested to extend your stay beyond the program dates, or have requested an additional room, please note that additional room nights are based upon availability authorized by the hotel. The SMACNA Meetings Department will contact you if the room block is full or if there has been a rate change.
Attendees pay separately for hotel accommodations. A credit card must be presented at check-in to pay for the room, tax, and incidental charges.
Room Rate: $259, plus taxes and fees
The hotel cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to the date of arrival. No-shows and late cancellations will be charged one night's stay.
